Home Finding Program
- Selection of Properties
- Accompanied Home Viewing
- Negotiations with Landlord
- Finalize Lease Agreement and Liaison Advance Payments
- Move-in Inspection
The objective of our Home Finding program is to fast and efficiently secure a suitable home at the right price and in the right location, and is based on input from both you and your company, such as budget, location, and which type of housing is required. We maintain an up-to-date housing database, and are dedicated to our customers to get the best value for their housing budget.
The process starts with a discussion of your housing needs. Our questionnaire will guide you to make the right choices.
Based on this we carry out an in-depth analysis of possible appropriate housing and the most suitable areas to live in. We present you with a preliminary housing list and a visit program.
In the days prior to the your visit, we personally view and select the most appropriate housing, which match your accommodation needs with the homes currently available on the market. The final housing list is then presented to you.
We make all the appointments and preparations for showing prospective homes, and accompany you during the entire Home Finding. We would recommend spacing the Home Finding over a maximum of one week.
When you are ready to make a commitment – usually after a second viewing – we prepare the ‘letter of intent’ to the landlord, and initiate the negotiations of your specific requirements for the home and the lease agreement.
At this point you may have to pay a holding deposit to secure the lease; however, this is not always required.
Concerning the lease agreement, we would offer our full support with explanation and understanding of the terms of the lease, and assist you with finalizing the lease for your approval.
Upon signing the lease agreement you will have to pay the security deposit and advance rent. From this point on until you move in, we continue to follow up with the landlord to finalize all your requests.
While you are taking possession of your new home we arrange a walk through jointly with the landlord and you to inspect the facilities and make the inventory inspection report, which includes ensuring that all utilities are connected.
The School Search Program
- Educational Requirements – Curriculum, Fees, Location, Environment
- Selection of Schools
- Accompanied School Visits
- Admission Support
The objective of our School Search program is to fast and efficiently secure a placement for your children at a suitable school that meets your educational standard and financial budget as well as addressing your transportation and environmental concerns.
Background: The availability of international schools has become wider and better in recent years, making the selection process more purposeful but also more time consuming. Practically all schools have assessment test requirements, and at some schools there may be a waiting list. We therefore recommend initiating the school search as early as feasible.
The purpose with the search is to acquaint you with all the school options in a transparent manner. This sets the foundation for an organized and comfortable transfer in addition to providing peace of mind. The scope of the school search is based upon your particular needs, and we will thoroughly analyze and discuss with you in advance of the search.
The Highlights of the program include:
- The process starts with a discussion of your educational needs, in particular your choice of curriculum, the fees you are prepared to pay and the location and environment in which you expect your children to be educated.
- Based on this we carry out an in-depth study of possible appropriate schools in the most suitable locations. We present you with the data on these schools and a preliminary visit program.
- School Visits. We arrange the visits with the admission and educational staff of the selected schools, and accompany you during the entire visit.
- We may assist you with the registration procedure at the selected school(s).
- Keeping in Touch. When returning home, we would be pleased to assist you with any further information that you may need.
Our consultant will accompany you throughout the scheduled visit, and with the support from our team of experienced resident counselors, we will find a way to satisfy your educational needs.
Healthcare in Thailand
As a newcomer to Thailand, it is important to ensure proper arrangements and access healthcare services. Private hospitals in Thailand provide comprehensive services ranging from primary to tertiary (specialist) care. This means you will most likely use a hospital for your normal “cough-and-cold” doctor visits, including eye and dental services.
Thailand has over the last 10 years become recognized as a prime provider of healthcare services, to an extent where patients from other countries elect Thailand for their treatments.
As an expatriate you have access to international quality health services at the major private hospitals in Bangkok and certain regional centers. Many have international trained physicians and high service levels.
List of Hospitals
Below is a list of the main hospitals used by expatriates. There are, of course, quite a few other hospitals.
Please note that when people need to visit a doctor in Pattaya, they generally go to the hospital where they will be immediately referred to the relevant specialist rather than a general practitioner.
